On Tuesday, the Ministry of Defense of Austria reported that all Austrian soldiers were included in the composition of the temporary mission of the Organization of United Nations in Lviv (UNIFIER).
All eight soldiers are part of a group that was attacked in southern Lviv. According to the ministry's data, the Austrians were not harmed, and they are all safe.
However, Austrian servicemen were involved in the epicenter of the incident, which occurred during the fulfillment of their official duties in Lviv. At this moment, details of the incident are being clarified.
"It is important that the peacekeepers can continue their work in Lviv. The attack on UNIFIER forces is being discussed," emphasized a representative of the ministry.
