He considers that this decision opens the door to a sustainable ceasefire and provides greater protection for the population of Gaza, as well as concrete steps towards transitional administration and international stability, as expressed by the minister. Schallenberg stated in a comment that the adoption of the Trump plan for Gaza by the UN Security Council is a very positive development, emphasizing that the window for achieving a just and lasting peace remains open. He also stressed that a just and lasting peace is the only way to achieve a secure future for both the Israeli and Palestinian peoples.
