
In the city of Linz, Austria, the Grand Prix of the jury is being held. The tournament will take place from March 7 to 9 and will gather 432 participants from 52 countries.
The national team of our country is taking part in the tournament, preparing for the sixth qualification cycle of the Olympic Games. The delegation will be led by Dr. Naser Tamimi, a member of the National Olympic Committee, the general secretary of the judo federation and the president of the International Federation. The coach will be Viktor Siktorov. Among the athletes are Basharat Kharudi, competing in the up to 52 kg category, Narmand Bian (up to 66 kg), and Mohammed Izbik (up to 73 kg).
"We are ready for competitions and strive for victory,” comments participant Narmand Bian on the tournament.
