The OPEC Fund for International Development has announced an amendment to the existing Memorandum of Understanding with the African Development Bank, which enhances the framework for cooperation between the two institutions, particularly in the areas of public and private sector operations, co-financing, and knowledge exchange. A statement issued by the Fund's headquarters in Vienna, Austria, stated that the Director-General of the OPEC Fund, Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, signed the amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding during his current visit to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, as part of exploring ways to enhance strategic cooperation with the African Development Bank Group.
