Yesterday, on Sunday, as a result of a fall from a slope in the Austrian Alps, a German tourist died. Austrian police reported that the incident occurred not far from the village of Bludenz in the federal state of Vorarlberg yesterday afternoon. A 54-year-old man, who was hiking with his wife and dog, lost his balance on a dangerous part of the slope at an altitude of about 1350 meters and fell from a height of about 150 meters onto rocky ground. Despite his wife's quick reaction, who called for a rescue helicopter, the man died from the injuries sustained at the scene of the incident.
